How to apply

Who can become a vector?

DTU and PF aim for the vector group to reflect the diversity among students at the university. Therefore, any student can apply to become a Vektor, as long as they are engaged and eager to give new Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering students a good start to their studies.

We are also looking for English-speaking vectors for our intro group for the international programme General Engineering, so even if you don’t speak Danish, you are very welcome to become a vector.

Which programmes still need vectors?

The required number of vectors has already been hired for several programmes, but the following programmes still need vectors.

Bachelor of Engineering

  • Civil Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering

  • Healthcare Technology

  • Software Technology

  • Electrical Engineering

Remember that you are welcome to apply to become a vector for a programme other than the one you are currently enrolled in.

How does the recruitment process work?

You will be appointed as a volunteer by the Office for Study Programmes and Student Affairs (AUS) and PF, and you will be affiliated with both parties, as we share the coordinating responsibility for the study start at DTU.
